Silent auction of John Makepeace 'English Fruits' table

November 27, 2017

In aid of Dorset Visual Arts and Bridport Arts Centre, award winning furniture designer John Makepeace has very generously donated this unique lime-wood piece to raise funds for both Bridport Arts Centre and Dorset Visual Arts. Please place your bids during the exhibition, reserve £1000, and the highest bidder will be notified at the end.

Laura Cocket, Director at Bridport Arts Centre commented

"We are overwhelmed with this kind and generous offer from John. We are very fortunate to have such a talented designer maker on our doorstep, who is so supportive of what we do here. I can't wait to see it in the Allsop Gallery as the centre piece of this exhibition."

Making Dorset aims to develop a network of Dorset’s best designer makers – many of whom have important national reputations. This is a fantastic opportunity to see world-class making in one of Dorset's largest public gallery spaces.

Bridport Arts Centre and Dorset Visual Arts look forward to warmly welcoming you during the festive season. The Exhibition will be open Wed 6 Dec, for Christmas Cheer until Wed 20 December. Open Tues-Sat, 10am - 4pm.
